The frozen creek overwhelmed me with beauty. I could have stayed in one place for hours and come back for more hours .. which I did. I got lost in this particular spot where the stars seemed to be inside the black ice. I heard the ice caving into the creek and the call of the coyotes as I laid here to get the angle you see. I was unaware of anything other than the scene in front of me .. and I had no idea of how cold it was until I got back into my car after the sun set. … Getting back into the car is when my human elements set in and I realize that I’m cold and I’m hungry.
